Magnetic Print Surface

Description

These new print surfaces are two part.  The lower layer is a flexible magnet (like a refrigerator magnet) that has a 3M adhesive on the back, and is intended to stick to the top of your current build surface, be it aluminum, glass or something else.  The upper layer is also a flexible magnet, with a black polymer top layer.  You would print directly onto this layer, and when the print is done you can peel the top layer off the bottom layer and flex it to release the print.  This is one of the easiest methods of removing a print without damaging it.  These can be trimmed with shears.

***Caveats On Using This Product***

This is an entirely flexible bed surface.  It does not have a spring steel layer or any sort of stiffening, and will not compensate for a warped bed.  The top layer is plastic and will be easily damaged by removing a print with a sharp scraper or the like, and can also be damaged by a hot nozzle impacting the surface.  The magnets are not high temperature resistant, and this surface should not be used on beds heated over 80 degrees C.
